Privacy Policy

Effective Date: August 13, 2026

Welcome to our service provided by ROI.dog. Your privacy is of utmost importance to us. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and process your data when you connect your Google Ads account to our platform for analytics powered by AI.

This policy complies with the requirements of Google APIs Services User Data Policy and is governed by applicable U.S. laws and relevant international regulations, including GDPR and CCPA.

1. Information Collection

When you use our service, we access certain data from your Google Ads account only after you explicitly authorize access via the OAuth 2.0 consent screen.

We collect:

  • Google Ads Data: Campaigns, ad groups, ads, performance metrics (such as impressions, clicks, conversions), budgets, and keywords.
  • Authentication Information: Email address associated with your Google account (for identification and personalized access).

We do not request or access restricted scopes beyond those explicitly described on the OAuth consent screen (https://www.googleapis.com/auth/adwords).

We do not receive your Google password or directly store payment card details. Stripe processes payment-card information in its hosted billing workflows.

2. Use of Information

We use the collected data only for the following purposes:

  • To provide AI-powered insights, recommendations, and visual reports based on your Google Ads data.
  • To display historical performance comparisons and trends.
  • To help you optimize your advertising strategy through automated analysis.
  • To maintain your authorized Google Ads connection, selected account context, application settings, and subscription state.
  • To save reports and generated analysis so authenticated users can return to their results.

Google Ads source data is queried when a feature needs it. ROI.dog may retain account connection records, selected customer IDs, settings, saved reports, billing records, and operational logs as needed to provide and protect the service.

3. Use of AI (Grok 4.5 by default)

  • We use a configured AI model, with xAI's Grok 4.5 as the default, to analyze your advertising data and generate performance suggestions. Requests may be sent directly to xAI or routed through OpenRouter, depending on our active service configuration.
  • Data is sent only after you provide explicit in-app consent for AI processing.
  • We do not use your data to train our own AI models. Data handling by xAI, OpenRouter, and any selected model hosting provider is governed by the applicable business terms and privacy controls.
  • The analysis is personalized and performed per request. Any provider-side retention is governed by the applicable terms and privacy controls of xAI, OpenRouter, and any selected model hosting provider.

4. Information Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal or advertising data with third parties, except in the following cases:

  • With your Consent: You grant us permission to access and process data.
  • Service Providers: For AI analysis, data may be sent directly to xAI or routed through OpenRouter to the configured model provider under the applicable providers' terms and privacy controls.
  • Legal Compliance: If required by law or regulatory authority.

5. Data Security and Retention

  • Access to dashboards, connections, and saved reports is limited to authenticated application workflows. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.
  • OAuth connection credentials are stored server-side so ROI.dog can query an authorized account until the connection is removed or authorization is revoked.
  • Saved reports, application settings, account selections, subscription records, and security or operational logs may be retained while needed to provide the service, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, or meet legal obligations.
  • Disconnecting Google Ads removes the active ROI.dog connection. Revoking access in Google prevents further authorized queries. Contact us to request assistance with account or data deletion.

6. International Users

Our infrastructure operates primarily in the United States. If you access the service from other countries, you agree to the transfer and processing of your data in accordance with this policy.

For users in the EEA, we adhere to GDPR standards. For California residents, we comply with CCPA.

7. User Control & Consent

  • You may revoke our access to your Google Ads account at any time via your Google Account settings.
  • You may withdraw consent for AI processing at any time in the application settings.
  • We provide a clear explanation of how data is used on the OAuth consent screen and within the application interface.
